Faith the Fairy

I have a card for Quick Creations to share today.
I used a gorgeous Stamping Bella image called Faith the Fairy.
She is actually a very long-legged girl but I decided to crop the image for this card and I like the way it turned out.
I really love this sentiment and it comes with the image.  Bonus! :)

The paper I used is by Kaisercraft and it's called Fairy Dust.  It is so beautiful!  This sheet is actually embossed and looks so fabulous in real life.

Ingredients :

It's a wonderful release isn't it!?  There are so many gorgeous goodies to play with but I decided to use Lil Love Bug.  I didn't want to make a card for Valentines Day, I just wanted to make a cute card and I left it without a sentiment so that I could use it for just about any occasion.  I also used some darker colours on her so that she wouldn't be TOO cute for a teenager.  I loved colouring her :)

I decided to use the "X's" from the new Die as more of a cross-stitch in the corners of the card rather than as a kiss.  And isn't the heart frame gorgeous!?

Ingredients :
Stamps : Lil Love Bug
Card : xpress it, razzleberry, slate, Smoochie paper pad
Ink : memento black
Other : Make a card #12 die, copics

Copics used :
BG 0000, 000, 72
W 00, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9
E 000, 00, 21
RV 0000, 63, 66, 69
R 20, 30, 81, 83

Going forward, we will have a New Release Blog Hop with every release to showcase our talented Design Team! If you get lost along the way, this is our hopping list.
And we can’t have a Blog Hop without a PRIZE!! Here is how to enter:
Leave a comment on each DT Member’s Blog, and then head back to the C.C. Designs Blog to let us know you completed the hop. One random winner will receive a prize for completing the blog hop!!
**This Blog Hop will end on Sunday, January 10th at NOON, 12pm EST! Winners will be announced the following week!
Happy Hopping!!

Aphrodite Twila

It's Day 2 of  Sneak Peeks from the CC Designs new release.

I decided to use the gorgeous Aphrodite Twila and make a shaker card.
She was lots of fun to colour and she comes with the love heart music notes too. They are separate so you can stamp them where ever you like, which is great!  (And as CC Designs are clear stamps now, you can easily see exactly where you want them to go :)

I made the frame for the shaker by using the squares #1 die and the make a card #10 die for the rectangular window.  I stamped and embossed with silver the "hugs and kisses" from the Smoochie Sentiment set and the tiny hearts above that are from the new make a card #12 die.
This new die actually has a beautiful frame with tiny hearts all around it and the hearts I've used here are from the "left overs" from cutting out the frame.  I also used these tiny hearts as the confetti for the shaker. It's a little hard to see in the photo but she is resting on a layer pretty hearts.
The pink paper comes from the new Smoochie paper pad.

Ingredients :

Stamps : Aphrodite Twila, Smoochie Sentiments
Card : xpress it, silver, Smoochie paper
Ink : memento black, versamark
Other : silver ep, Make a card #12 die, Make a card #10 die, Squares #1 die, star dust stickles, Copics

Copics used :
BG 0000, 000, 72
R 20, 30
RV 0000, 63, 66, 69
Y 11, 13
E 000, 00, 21, 50, 53

Marietta

I have a sneak peek to show you today :)
This is one of the cute stamps from the new January release at CC Designs.

She is a Pollycraft stamp and her name is Marietta.
She's very cute and could be used for so many occasions I think.

There is lots of other new release stuff on this card too!
The "lots of love" is from the Smoochie Sentiments set.
Oh and that reminds me of some other big news to tell you.... CC Designs Stamps have gone clear!
So that is wonderful for sentiment placement!  I got this sentiment lined up with those dots really easily :)
The little heart on the diecut envelope is from the sentiment set too.

The new die is a great one! I've only shown a tiny bit of it on this card (the envelope and the "X & O's") but it has lots of other wonderful pieces too!

I cut strips of different pink paper from the new Smoochie paper pad to make the background and the grey spot is from that pad too.  And there are some Smoochie enamel dots to match the paper as well :)

Ingredients :
Stamps: Marietta, Smoochie Sentiments
Card : xpress it, basic grey, Smoochie paper pad
Ink : memento black, versafine
Other : make a card #12 die, make a card #10 die, Smoochie enamel dots, star dust stickles, copics

Copics used :
E 000, 00, 21, 50, 53, 55
R 20, 30, 81, 83, 85
RV 63
W 00, 1

All the new stamps and accessories will be available on January 7th but each day leading up to that the Design Team are giving you some Sneak Peeks.  So please check out the CC Designs blog.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges :

Penny Black and More ; For the Girls
Sweet Stampin - Something New
Send a Smile for Kids - Valentine or Love card 4 Kids

Thanks for dropping by today, I'll be back tomorrow with another cutie to show you, so I hope you'll visit again :)
